Opening Weekend: A Volunteers' Perspective Откриващият уикенд - гледната точка на един доброволец
Казвам се Виктория Кадиева и съм на 19 години от Пловдив. На датите 11,12 и 13.01.2019г. взех участие като доброволец към ''Пловдив - Европейска столица на културата 2019''.
Бях в екипа на ''Посрещане и ВИП '', като превеждах на италианската група от Матера.
Искам да споделя тяхното впечатление към цялата програма по случай откриването на ''Европейска столица на културата Пловдив 2019''. От добрия подбор на доброволци и то точно такива, които говореха техния роден език и разбира се, отличното владеене на английски!
Бяха не просто впечатлени, а изумени! Разбира се, да не забравяме и огромния принос на ''Neoton Bulgariq '', защото без тях със сигурност нямаше да постигнем огромния успех, с който всеки пловдивчанин или малко по-общо казано ''европеец'' се гордее!
Също така искам да разкажа за моите лични впечатления. За мен събитието бе едно страхотно изживяване, изпълнено с много емоции, страхотни моменти и забавни случки. Радвам се, че имах възможността да бъда част от този невероятен екип и мога гордо да заявя, че направих доста приятелства както с екипа, така и с гостуващите от Матера.
Смятам, че такива събития могат да ни обогатят и да ни научат на много интересни неща, за които дори не сме и подозирали.
Ще съм щастлива да взема участие в още мероприятия свързани с развитието на нашия красив и античен град - ПЛОВДИВ .
Мен лично много ме впечатли!

My name is Victoria Kadieva and I am 19 years old. I am from Plovdiv and on the dates 11, 12, and 13th of January this year I took part as a volunteer in “European Capital of Culture Plovdiv 2019”.
I was in the “Welcoming and VIP” team, translating to the Italian group from Matera.
I want to share with you their thoughts on the whole program for the opening of the “European Capital of Culture Plovdiv 2019”. From the good selection of volunteers and especially those who spoke their native language, the Italian language, to the excellent use of English!
They weren't just impressed. I would say that they were simply amazed! Of course, let’s not forget the huge contribution of “Neoton Bulgaria” because, without them, we would have not achieved the enormous success with which every citizen of Plovdiv and even a European citizen is proud of!
I also want to express my personal impression as well! To me, this was a great experience, filled with so many emotions, unforgettable moments, and funny stories. I'm glad that I was part of this incredible team and I can proudly say that I made quite a lot of friends with both the team and the guests from Matera.
I think that such events can enrich us and teach us a lot of interesting things that we haven't even expected.
I will be happy to take part in more events related to the development of our beautiful and ancient town - PLOVDIV.
As I mentioned before I met so many wonderful people among Matera’s journalists and I would like to share their film that was made specifically for our ''Plovdiv 2019'' opening ceremony.
It had such a great impact on me! Hopefully, it will bring joy to you as well!
